Girlfriend Weekends
Make new memories with good friends. Get a group of ladies together and reserve the entire inn
(5-10 people). Arrive any time Friday after noon and depart Sunday afternoon. We will provide
Saturday night dinner, 2 full country breakfasts, afternoon refreshments, and late night dessert
and coffee on Saturday.
Cost:
$250/person single occupancy
$180/person double occupancy
Extras such as massage, facials, and/or manicures gladly arranged.
So why not get a group of the “lay dees” together, escape to Vermont, and enjoy a weekend of
relaxation, sleeping in, shopping, pampering, exercise, antiquing, good food and conversation,
hiking, biking, golf, gossip, catching up......are you beginning to see a picture?
OK...of course...this offer can also be used by couples, extended families, mixed groups, and so
forth. We just wanted to especially get the ladies’ attention!
Cookie Baking Weekends
When is the last time you baked cookies all day for Christmas? This year, do it with family or
friends!
The Inn on Park Street offers two getaway cookie baking weekends this holiday season. Your
innkeeper Judy Bunde, who operated a wholesale dessert business in the Boston area for 20 years,
will lead the way and prep the doughs.
You arrive on Friday evening and after breakfast on Saturday we go to work! We’ll do roll-out
sugar and gingerbread cookies first; then we’ll form the others and bake everything off. After
baking we’ll decorate the cut-out sugar cookies with multiple tinted sugar icings along with many
different sprinkles, sugars, and dragees. Along the way there will be a lunch break!
The kitchen is equipped with 3 wall ovens, a 4'x8' island work area, and a commercial 20qt.
mixer. It can accommodate the whole group easily.
We’ll provide all the doughs for 50-60 pounds of at least 8 varieties of cookies. In addition to
Sugar and Gingerbread you may choose from Mexican Wedding Cakes, Orange Cat Tongues, Cranberry
Pistachio Shortbread, Raspberry Linzer, Chocolate Coconut Macaroons, Apricot Almond, Frosted
Chocolate Sour Cream Drops, Lemon Lyrics, Orange Poppyseed Shortbread, Oatmeal Cranberry Krispies,
Peanut Butter, Traditional Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chunk Shortbread, Coffee Molasses, Chocolate
Hazelnut, and more.
We will provide:

Late light supper Friday evening when you arrive: Chowder, salad, bread, dessert

Coffee at 7AM outside your rooms

Full country breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday: buffet of juices, baked goods,
cereal, granola, yogurt, fruit, and then a choice between 2 breakfast entrees such as omelets or
French toast

Saturday “working lunch”

Saturday afternoon refreshments/snacks at cocktail time

Saturday night dinner with appetizer, salad, main course, and dessert

Cookie baking all day Saturday! And if we need to finish up on Sunday, that too

Soft drinks, mixers, ice and set-ups for cocktails (Beer, wine, alcohol are BYO
as my license doesn’t include service of alcohol).
I can also arrange for a piano player for carols for some time on Saturday if you wish. There
will be an extra charge; if you are interested I will get a quote for you. If you would rather
sample one of Brandon’s restaurants Saturday night, you may reduce the cost by $25/person.
